Plugins

Compiz features two officially supported sets of plugins and unsupported set.

• Compiz Plugins - Plugins maintained in the Compiz repository, many of which offer the most important window manager features you use.

• Compiz Plugins

  • Main - The most popular and useful plugins.

  • Extra - Less essential, but certainly interesting plugins.

  • Unsupported - Plugins not currently supported, but should at least run.

There are also Experimental Plugins that are not part of Compiz yet. You have to install them from git to test them out.
